“Everything for the office” was once the advertising slogan of our ancestor, the businessman Hermann Fischer Senior. He founded a business selling typewriters in 1926. This slogan also applies to our collection, whose main theme is the typewriter itself. Around three hundred typewriters are on display in a cosy atmosphere, documenting the history of the industry from 1860 to 1930. The collection consists primarily of patent models, trade fair models, special models, early models or simply flops, or to put it correctly: machines that were only produced for a short time.
You can also discover calculating machines, pencil sharpening machines, ribbon tins, telephones and various office utensils from days gone by.
We are always happy to welcome visitors!
